Global Gems is an antique jewellery and fine gemstone house, based in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
The company was founded by Mr. Vinit Rakyan in 1980 and is run by the Rakyan family, who have been in this profession for more than seven generations and over 130 years. With this experience and business relationships, formed to last decades, Global Gems has established itself as one of the most trusted and well reputed antique jewellery specialists in Europe and world-wide.
Today Global Gems represents one of the finest collections of rare gemstones and jewellery.
The collection consists of unique pieces of art from Victorian times, Art Deco and Belle Epoch as well as untreated/natural diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and natural pearls that have kept their beauty and value over centuries. Global Gems presents these collectors' items and museum pieces at major international trade shows and by appointment.
